Juror #1: (Foreman): (Age 35-55) A responsible leader, earnest, authoritative, and tries to keep order during discussions.

Juror #2: (Age 25-45) Meek and hesitant, easily swayed by others’ opinions.

Juror #3: (Age 40-60) Strong-minded, opinionated, emotionally volatile, driven by personal biases.

Juror #4: (Age 40-60) Logical, rational, focused strictly on facts, articulate and polished.

Juror #5: (Age 25-35) Young, naive, sensitive, raised in tough circumstances.

Juror #6: (Age 30-50) Honest, straightforward, respectful, slow to form opinions.

Juror #7: (Age 30-50) Loud, flashy, impatient, quick-tempered, has a sense of humor.

Juror #8: (Age 35-55) Thoughtful, compassionate, principled, seeks truth and justice above all.

Juror #9: (Age 60+) Elderly, insightful, observant, gentle, possesses quiet strength.

Juror #10: (Age 40-60) Aggressive, prejudiced, bitter, highly opinionated.

Juror #11: (Age 30-55) Immigrant, humble, conscientious, takes his civic responsibility seriously.

Juror #12: (Age 25-40) Advertising executive, bright, superficial, indecisive.

Guard: (Any adult age) Minor role with limited lines; responsible for ushering jurors.

Preparation:

Actors will read selections from the script provided at auditions. Familiarity with the play is encouraged.
