This fast-paced holiday comedy is full of whimsy, wordplay, and madcap action. Loosely inspired by the famous poem, the story follows a young girl, her uncle, a mouse named Amos, and an elf named Calliope as they set out on a wild adventure to save Christmas.
Characters:
- Emily – A curious, lively young girl with a big heart and an adventurous spirit.
- Uncle Brierly – A zany, theatrical adult with flair and eccentric energy.
- Amos – A mouse with attitude and fast-talking charm; must be physically expressive and comedic.
- Calliope – An elf full of spunk, wit, and determination.
- Sir Guy of Gisbourne – The villain, working for the North Pole security team; proper but delightfully over-the-top.
- Ensemble roles – Often played by a small cast with quick changes; requires versatility and strong comedic timing.
Ideal for actors with strong physical comedy skills and big personalities. Quick pace and exaggerated characters make this a fun and lively audition experience.
