Auditions are being held for Little Women, the Broadway Musical, based on Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel. This heartfelt and soaring musical follows Jo March and her sisters as they grow up during the Civil War, each searching for love, purpose, independence, and a place in the world. With a sweeping score and strong character-driven storytelling, Little Women offers rich opportunities for singers and actors who can bring warmth, humor, honesty, and emotional depth to the stage.
The production calls for performers who are comfortable with expressive musical theatre singing, clear storytelling, and ensemble work. Roles include the spirited March sisters, the strong and loving Marmee, the charming Laurie, the thoughtful Professor Bhaer, and other memorable family and community figures. Actors should be prepared to portray close family relationships, romantic connections, moments of comedy, and scenes of deep emotion.
